Woolgathering // Thee ol' hole

There are many things in this world I would love to call my own. Well, not really own, more stumble upon and keep secret. This past weekend I had the pleasure of finding a perfect little spot tucked away on the river.

I have always loved the idea of a secret swimming hole. The kind you find while wandering through the woods, or taking a different route while canoeing down the river. I love the idea of spending days with no one else around except the people you chose to keep your secret. A dangerously high rope swing, a spot so deep you are unsure if it has a bottom, a cliff to dive off, crystal clear all the way to the bottom, not another soul in sight (which also means that clothes are optional).

       This is where I've been.

  1. Fun!! That looks like a super sweet spot! I am looking forward to Havasu falls when I make the move out west. I don't know how I feel about the 10 mile hike to get to it, but it looks like it will be well worth it!
