Congrats to Tess! She won our first giveaway !
A big thank you to all who entered!

We are thrilled to bring you our very first giveaway!
Our very dear and talented friend, Jean, is generously offering our readers one of
her amazing dolls. Each doll is made by hand, using Kona cotton and wool blend felt. They are approximately 15 inches tall.
The winner of this giveaway will win a custom made doll! (She also makes dolls in dude form)
These dolls would make an amazing gift for a little one, or as John suggested, voodoo or blaming for missing cookies.

These dolls are adorable! I would love to win one for my friend's baby. One of my favorite gifts was a tiny portable radio with headphones that my grandparents got me when I was about 10. It didn't even have a cassette player - just radio - but I listened to it all the time. The worst was probably a large ceramic cat with bows and pearls hanging off of it - and it wasn't a white elephant gift.

I love the little boy dolls, it is so hard to find dolls that are cool enough for a boy to carry around and these are adorable!
ReplyDeleteMy favorite gift of all time was a family trip to Hawaii! For pretty obvious reasons, I mean, we live in northern Michigan, so a winter trip to Hawaii is awesome! But it also provided for some very memorable moments & adventures with family and we were celebrating my mom's cancer-free diagnosis after a long battle.
My worst gift was a cow hand puppet. It was from a foster child we had at the time, which was the only saving grace, but I was in my late twenties, the boy was 8 and we didn't live on a farm, or even know anyone who owned cows, I don't think I looked or acted like a cow in any way...I'm still occasionally troubled by what it was about that cow puppet that made this litte boy think "Wow, Kim would really like this!"

ReplyDeleteAAAhhhh! I love these dolls and have been wanting to get one for BOTH of my little one's or some time now. My best Christmas gift EVER was last year...I was in Ethiopia for 6-10 weeks and having a really really hard time there with a very sick baby who desperately needed to get to The States. We were not supposed to be able to legally leave the country for another month when, in the spirit of the holidays, we were granted his visa waaay ahead of schedule and got to make it home in time for Christmas. He was able to spend his very first Christmas safe and sound with us at home which was truly a Christmas miracle. If I win, I am for sure going to get a little brown "dude" doll for him. Then I will also have to order a little girl doll to be fair. :)
These dolls are adorable! Can just see both of my kiddos enjoying them-and there aren't too many toys that entertain both of them. They look so soft and cuddly!
